U.S. Bank prints no paper or close fee
By Karla CastroUpdated November 2, 2026
U.S. Bank's consumer pricing information, effective August 10, 2026, does not print a paper statement fee and does not print an early account closing fee. A zero balance account can close on its own after four quiet months. That rule is not a fee.
Paper statement
Opened 2 November 2026. The pricing document uses the word statement for monthly fee waivers, ATM refunds, and the length of a statement period. It does not print a dollar for a mailed statement or for an online statement.
If your statement shows a paper fee, write the account name and the amount. This pricing file does not supply a number to compare it with.
Closing the account
The document says a Smartly Checking or similar account can close automatically if the balance is zero and there is no deposit or withdrawal for four months in a row. It does not print a dollar for that close, and it does not print a fee for you closing a new account.
Upload the statement on Expenvo. The PDF stays on your device. Expenvo lists the lines. It does not sign in to the bank, and it does not close the account.
