How to ask about a TD Cash Back Visa Infinite annual fee
TD Cash Back Visa Infinite is not the no fee TD Cash Back Visa, and it is not the Aeroplan or First Class Travel cards. The card page prints a $139 annual fee. A first year rebate has conditions. An All Inclusive banking rebate is a different offer. Asking TD to remove a fee already charged is a request.

The fee on the card page
Opened 19 October 2026. The TD Cash Back Visa Infinite card page prints an annual fee of $139. Interest on purchases is 21.99%. Interest on cash advances is 22.99% on that page. The first additional cardholder is $50. Subsequent additional cardholders are $0. TD says the primary cardholder stays liable for every charge, including charges by an additional cardholder, and that the maximum is 3 additional cardholders. The page says rates, fees, and features are current as of April 30, 2025, unless otherwise indicated, and subject to change. The Quebec card page also prints $139 and $50, and it prints 21.99% for both purchases and cash advances. If you live in Quebec, use the Quebec page and the statement together.
The income line on the card page is $60,000 personal or $100,000 household, and you must be a Canadian resident and the age of majority where you live. If you do not meet that income line, TD points you to the TD Cash Back Visa, which the cash back index page says has no annual fee. That is a different card. The Aeroplan Visa Infinite is how to ask about a TD Aeroplan Visa Infinite fee. First Class Travel is how to ask about a TD First Class Travel Visa Infinite fee. Platinum Travel is how to ask about a TD Platinum Travel Visa fee.
A rebate is not a fee that already posted
The special offer on the page includes an annual fee rebate for the first year. To get the primary cardholder rebate, TD says you must activate the card and make your first purchase within the first 3 months after the account opens. The first additional cardholder rebate needs that cardholder added while the offer is in effect. TD can change, withdraw, or extend the offer. A footnote values the first year rebate at $139 for the primary cardholder and $50 for the first additional cardholder. That is the offer math, not a promise for an account that already paid the fee.
The same page says you can get an annual fee rebate every year with a TD All Inclusive Banking Plan. That is a banking package, not the first year offer. The monthly cost of the plan is a different question, on how to waive a TD monthly account fee. Do not treat a plan rebate as a waiver of a fee that already posted before the plan was open. Cash advances are also a different line. The card page says fees apply to each cash advance. Those dollars are on cash advance fees, not in the $139.
What to ask
Use the phone number on the statement if it is printed there. Have the date, the fee name, and the amount. Ask whether the charge is the $139 primary fee, the $50 additional card fee, or something else. Ask whether a first year rebate or an All Inclusive rebate was supposed to credit it. Then ask TD to review the fee or remove it. They can say no. This page has no success rate. If the answer is no, ask whether a product change is available, and the last day you can close so the next annual fee is not charged. This page does not tell you to close the card. How to ask about a card annual fee is the general page. To see the line on the PDF, use how to download a TD statement.
Upload the statement on Expenvo. The PDF stays on your device. Expenvo lists the lines. It does not sign in to the bank or the card company, and it does not cancel a card or a purchase.
Questions
- Is the no fee Cash Back Visa the same card?
- No. TD's cash back index page says the Cash Back Visa Infinite annual fee is $139, and the TD Cash Back Visa has no annual fee. Match the name on the statement before you use the $139.
- Why is the Quebec cash advance rate different?
- On 19 October 2026 the national card page printed 22.99% for cash advances. The Quebec card page printed 21.99% for cash advances and for purchases. Use the page for the province on the account, and the statement if they disagree.
- Does the All Inclusive plan erase a fee that already posted?
- The card page says the plan can rebate the annual fee every year. It does not say a fee that already posted is removed automatically. Ask TD whether that account qualifies, and when the credit would show.
- Will TD remove an annual fee it already charged if I ask?
- They might, and they might not. Asking is a request. A published first year rebate is not a promise to erase a fee already on the statement.
