How to ask about a TD First Class Travel Visa Infinite fee

TD First Class Travel Visa Infinite is not the TD Aeroplan Visa Infinite, and it is not the TD Platinum Travel Visa. TD's card page prints $139 a year for the primary card and $50 for the first additional card. A first year rebate and a bank plan rebate are offers with conditions. Asking TD to remove a fee already charged is a request.

The fee on the card page

Opened 19 October 2026. The TD First Class Travel Visa Infinite card page prints an annual fee of $139. Interest on purchases is 21.99%. Interest on cash advances is 22.99%. The first additional cardholder is $50. Subsequent additional cardholders are $0. TD prints an income requirement of $60,000 personal or $100,000 household, and you must be a Canadian resident and the age of majority in your province or territory. The page says that if you do not meet the income requirement, look at the TD Platinum Travel Visa instead. That card is how to ask about a TD Platinum Travel Visa fee. The Aeroplan Visa Infinite is a different card, on how to ask about a TD Aeroplan Visa Infinite fee.

All of those figures are in Canadian dollars. A welcome bonus of points is not the annual fee. A $100 TD Travel Credit when you book at Expedia for TD is not a waiver of the $139. Do not multiply the annual fee by 12. Figures can change. If the statement and the public page disagree, use the statement and ask TD which one applies.

The first year rebate and the bank plan

The special offer on that page includes an annual fee rebate for the first year. To receive the first year rebate for the primary cardholder, TD says you must activate the card and make your first purchase on the account within the first 3 months after account opening. To receive the additional cardholder first year rebate, you must add the additional cardholder while the offer is in effect. TD says the offer may be changed, withdrawn, or extended at any time, and that it cannot be combined with any other offer unless TD says so. A rebate that has not been earned yet is not a refund of a fee that already posted.

The same page says you can get an annual fee rebate every year with a TD All-Inclusive Banking Plan. TD does not, on this card page, print the monthly fee of that bank plan or every condition. Treat the yearly rebate as TD's claim, and ask TD whether your plan qualifies before you count on it. The monthly fee on a TD bank account is a different line, on how to waive a TD monthly fee.

What to ask

Use the phone number on the statement or on the back of the card. This card page did not print a separate fee desk number in the section that loaded. Have the date, the fee name, and the amount. Ask whether the line is the $139 primary fee, the $50 additional card fee, interest, or something else. Ask whether the first year rebate or the All-Inclusive rebate applies to that account. TD can say no. This page has no success rate.

If the answer is no, ask the last day you can close or change the card so the next annual fee is not charged. A refund after you cancel is on can you get a credit card annual fee refunded when you cancel. This page does not tell you to close the card.
