What a Lyft charge means on your statement

A Lyft line is a ride, a fee on a ride, or Lyft Pink. Lyft's help page does not print one exact card descriptor for every charge. The statement name usually includes Lyft. Confirm the ride in Ride history, or the membership under Lyft Pink.

What Lyft prints

Lyft Pink is $9.99 a month or $99 a year. Lyft Pink All Access is $199 a year. Lyft says Pink is for personal rides in the US, and that it does not apply to a business profile. The plan renews monthly or yearly until you cancel. Lyft charges the default card in the app, then a backup card if that fails.

Apple Pay, Google Pay, commuter benefits, Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, and prepaid cards are not accepted for the membership fee. Lyft says you can still use those to pay for rides. Lyft collects sales tax in some places.

If you cancel a ride and rebook within 15 minutes, Lyft says it will credit the cancellation fee up to 3 times a month. You will still see a cancellation fee on the bank statement. After the rebooked ride, the refund is a $5 ride credit in the Lyft account. The driver is still paid for the fee.

How to stop Lyft Pink

In the app: open the menu, Lyft Pink, Manage Plan, then pause, change, or cancel. A pause can last up to 28 days. Monthly members can pause once per billing cycle. Annual members can pause up to twice a year. Pausing moves the next billing date back by the number of days you paused.

Upgrading a monthly plan to annual charges $99, plus tax where it is required, and refunds the unused part of the monthly fee to the card on file.
