How to download an M&T Bank statement PDF

Enroll, then download

Opened 17 October 2026. M&T's eStatements page says to log in to your online account, or enroll if you do not have one. Then update delivery settings, accept the Digital Service Agreement, and start viewing statements and notices digitally. The page says you can download eStatements, and that you can switch back to paper later. It also says you can access up to seven years of statements in your online account. You need online banking before eStatements.

The phone on that page is 1-800-724-2440. The page says you can access statements online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and that an email can tell you a statement is ready. It does not print a paper statement dollar.

What the Digital Services Agreement adds

M&T's Digital Services Agreement says the Statements and Notices service makes documents available to view, print, and download, rather than on paper. You need software that can open a PDF, such as a currently supported version of Adobe Reader. When a document is ready, M&T sends a notice to the primary email on the service. Those documents stay available for 7 years while you are enrolled and have elected electronic delivery. M&T recommends that you print or save copies as they become available.

If the account is closed, the agreement says electronic documents will not stay available on the website. Save the PDF before you close the account. You can change paper or electronic delivery inside online banking or by calling customer service. A change may take up to one month and takes effect in the next statement cycle. Accounts on one combined statement have to use the same delivery. Asking for a paper copy does not cancel eStatements. You must pay any applicable charge for that paper copy. The agreement's fee table says there is no fee for the Statements and Notices service, and to read the account agreements for paper statement delivery fees. It does not print that paper dollar.

The file to upload

For a transfer you do not recognize, the agreement says to contact M&T no later than 60 days after the first statement that showed the problem. That clock is for the error rules in the agreement. It is not a promise about how long the PDF stays online.
