What a DRI* charge means on your statement
People search DRI* because the brand they remember is not the first word on the statement. Digital River's own docs describe the company as the authorized reseller of another company's products. Two sellers' help pages print the exact letters their customers see.

The letters two companies print
NVIDIA's help page, still showing an update date of 29 September 2021 when opened 17 October 2026, answers a GeForce NOW question in one sentence: all GeForce NOW charges will appear as DRI*NVIDIA, and payments are processed by Digital River. The phone number on that page is 800.797.6530. That number is NVIDIA's line for that article. It is not a promise that every DRI* line is NVIDIA, and it is not a general Digital River call center published on the pages opened for this guide.
Logitech's Astro orders page answers "How will the charge show up on my credit card?" with this text: the charge will appear as DRI*Logitech Store. Read the words after DRI* the same way. On these two official examples, DRI* is the reseller prefix and the rest is the product company.
Digital River's selling-entity page says that, as the authorized reseller, it sells through local entities. The legal names on that page include Digital River, Inc., Digital River globalTech, Inc., Digital River Ireland Ltd., Digital River Brazil, Digital River Japan, and Digital River United Kingdom Ltd. A statement can show one of those names, or a bank's shortening of them, instead of the game or the app you remember. Digital River's public docs opened for this guide do not print one required descriptor that every seller must use. Do not assume every software charge that is hard to read is DRI*. Use the letters on your own line.
The full list of these short names is on statement codes. Named companies are on what is this charge on my statement.
How to find the product
Write down the full description, the date, and the amount. Search email for DRI, for Digital River, and for the words after the star. A receipt often uses the product name. The statement uses the short prefix plus a compressed name, the way NVIDIA prints DRI*NVIDIA and Logitech prints DRI*Logitech Store.
Then open the account for that product, not a random contact form. GeForce NOW is NVIDIA's membership. A Logitech or Astro order is Logitech's order history. The rest of the line is the company to sign in to. If the line is only a Digital River legal name, search that name with the amount. Someone else on the card, an old trial, or a renewal can be the charge.
Digital River's chargeback page, written for merchants, says a chargeback is a reversal by the customer's bank and that many of those requests start when a customer sees a charge they think they did not allow. That page is not a consumer how-to. If you did buy the product, start with the seller named after DRI*. If nobody allowed the charge, use the dispute steps for your country: dispute a charge in the US or dispute a charge in Canada.
Renewals and a second line
Software sold through a reseller often renews until you turn that off in the product account. Deleting the installer does not cancel the billing. How to cancel a subscription is the general page for a charge that keeps coming after you take permission away. The product company's own cancel page is the one that actually stops the next bill.
A pending line and a later posted line can be the same purchase. Pending and posted charges explains holds. Two posted lines for one order are the case for charged twice.
Upload the statement on Expenvo. The PDF stays on your device. Expenvo lists the lines so you can match a short name to a date and an amount. It does not call the bank, and it does not dispute a charge. A short processor name is easier to compare when the date and the amount sit next to it.
Questions
- Does every DRI* line mean NVIDIA?
- No. NVIDIA says GeForce NOW charges appear as DRI*NVIDIA. Logitech says an Astro charge appears as DRI*Logitech Store. The words after DRI* are the seller on those pages.
- Who is Digital River on the statement?
- Digital River's docs say it is the authorized reseller. The selling entities it lists include Digital River, Inc. and Digital River Ireland Ltd., among others. The product company is the name you still need to match.
- Where do I cancel it?
- In the account of the company named after DRI*, or in the receipt's cancel link. A reseller prefix on the statement does not by itself tell you a menu path inside that product.
- Will Expenvo name the software?
- No. It shows the description that is printed on the statement. You match DRI* and the words after it to the receipt.
