What an ESPN+ or ESPN Select charge means

An ESPN charge on a statement is a sports streaming plan, a bundle that includes it, or a renewal from Apple, Google, Roku, or another store. ESPN's current help pages price ESPN Select and ESPN Unlimited. They also say ESPN+ is now a network inside those plans. Cancel where you subscribed.

The prices ESPN prints

ESPN Fan Support's plans and prices article, opened 17 October 2026, lists ESPN Select at $13.99 a month or $139.99 a year, and ESPN Unlimited at $31.99 a month or $319.99 a year. It tells you to use the Disney+ Help Center for Disney bundle prices, so this page does not copy a bundle dollar. The same article says anyone who subscribed before 20 August 2026 will retain that price until their first billing date after 17 September 2026. That is the note on the page. It is not a promise this guide adds.

A bundle article on the same help site says ESPN+ is now a network with content that is exclusive to ESPN Select and Unlimited subscribers. ESPN Select is described as the ESPN+ library: live events, the 30 for 30 library, and on demand sports, in the ESPN app and also on Disney+ and Hulu where the plan allows. There is no single app for a Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN bundle. You still open each service.

Those pages do not print a required card descriptor such as ESPN*. If the statement names ESPN, that is the brand. If the charge was billed by a store, the line may name the store instead. APPLE.COM/BILL and GOOGLE* are the guides for those store lines. Disney Plus is the separate Disney+ charge.

How to cancel

ESPN's cancel article, updated 13 April 2026, says you may cancel an ESPN Select or Unlimited subscription at any time. You keep access until the end of the current billing cycle, and you are not charged moving forward. ESPN does not offer refunds or credits for a partly used billing period. Canceling does not delete the ESPN account.

On the web, log in through a computer or mobile browser. Open your profile picture, choose Account under Manage My Account, then Manage Subscription. Open the subscription under Plans and Billing, select the plan, then Cancel, and confirm. The cancellation is effective at the end of the billing cycle. The article says you cannot treat a third party bill as something ESPN's own screens can cancel. If Apple, Google, Roku, or another partner bills you, you manage it on that partner's site.

An older ESPN+ cancel article still describes canceling an ESPN+ subscription in the browser, not inside the ESPN app, and it names Disney+, Hulu, Apple, Amazon, Google Play, Roku, Xfinity, and Verizon as third party billers. If your account has already moved to Select or Unlimited, use the Select and Unlimited steps above. If the line is a bundle, cancel the bundle where you bought it, on Disney+ or Hulu, rather than assuming the ESPN screen controls that charge.

Deleting the ESPN app does not appear on these pages as a way to cancel. Use the account steps, or the store that bills you. The general path is on how to cancel a subscription.
