What a Discord Nitro charge means on your statement
A Discord line that repeats is usually Nitro, Nitro Basic, or a Server Boost. Discord does not print one price for every country. The subscriptions screen shows the amount and the renewal date. You cancel on the same kind of device you used to subscribe. If you subscribed on an iPhone, Discord says it cannot cancel that plan for you.

What you are paying for
Discord's Nitro article, updated 29 September 2026, says Nitro and Nitro Basic are monthly or annual subscriptions, with local pricing in some countries. You are billed once per billing period. Benefits last for that period. If you cancel, the subscription stays active until the period ends.
Nitro includes larger uploads, up to 1 GB, and two Server Boosts. Nitro Basic includes uploads up to 50 MB. Discord says most people stay under a 10 MB free upload limit, which is why the free limit exists. Those sizes are perks, not the price. The article says prices differ by location, local costs, exchange rates, and tests Discord runs. If the price changes, Discord says it notifies you before the new price. Canada is on the localized pricing list, along with other countries. A card that does not support local pricing, including American Express on that list, can be charged in US dollars instead. The subscriptions page in the app is where your price is shown. This guide does not print a dollar the article does not print.
Nitro Classic can continue for someone who already has it. Discord says a new subscriber cannot buy Classic. Cancelling Classic means you cannot subscribe to Classic again. A gift and a subscription are different charges. The billing FAQ says the Subscriptions tab lists active plans, renewal dates, and amounts.
How to cancel
Discord's cancel article says you cancel on the same kind of device where you bought it. Desktop or browser: open User Settings with the cog next to your name, open Subscriptions, and choose Cancel on the Nitro or Nitro Basic banner. On a phone: tap your avatar, open settings, open Billing Settings, then Manage Nitro, and follow the prompts. After that, Manage Nitro shows the date the plan ends.
If you bought Nitro on an iPhone, Discord says to contact Apple. Discord support cannot manage an iOS subscription. The statement line may say apple.com/bill, which is explained on what apple.com/bill means. If you cannot sign in, Discord says desktop, browser, and Android subscribers can ask billing support at the form linked from the cancel article, using the email on the Discord account. That form is not a refund by itself. Discord points refund requests to its refund policy. The cancel article does not print a number of days for a refund, so this guide does not add one.
Patreon and Duolingo are different
A creator membership on Patreon is a different company. That line is on what a Patreon charge means. A language app renewal is on what a Duolingo charge means. Discord will not show those plans in Subscriptions.
