How to download a First Horizon statement

A First Horizon eStatement is the monthly PDF in Digital Banking. The bank's own FAQ says you have to be enrolled in Digital Banking to receive eStatements, and that the files are PDFs. You need Adobe Acrobat Reader. The steps below are the ones those pages print. They are not a guess at a menu that was not on the page.

Open the PDF

The Digital Banking FAQ says to tap or click the account you want, then tap or click View eStatements. The Digital Banking user guide says to click the account, which opens Account Transactions, then click View E-Statements. Click the date you want. A PDF opens in a new window. If a window does not open, allow pop ups for the bank site and confirm Acrobat Reader is installed.

After you enroll, statements stay available for 24 months. The electronic delivery notice says statements remain online for 24 statement periods and that an email tells you when a statement is ready. Download or print the months you need while they are still in the list. The FAQ says you cannot keep both eStatements and paper statements. Once you enroll, paper stops after a transition. You may still get paper for one more cycle while the account converts. You can ask for a paper copy of a monthly statement.

Enroll, and the paper fee

The eStatements page says to log in to Digital Banking, click the Accounts/Statements tab, select the accounts, and follow the enrollment steps. The user guide's enroll path is: click the account, click Enroll in E-Statements, click to get an enrollment code, enter the code, and save. Enrolling means you agree to the Electronic Delivery Disclosure Notice.

If you currently get the original canceled checks in the mail, the FAQ says you cannot enroll until you switch to image statements. Log in and send a secure message, email the bank, or call 866-264-5322. The fee page says eStatements are no charge. A mailed checking statement with check images is $2 a month. Traditional Savings and consumer money market accounts are not charged that paper fee. The monthly account charge is separate, on how to waive a First Horizon monthly fee.

If the month is missing

Twenty four months is the retention the FAQ prints. A month older than that may not be in the list. The FAQ says you have the right to request a paper copy. Use the number on the statement or 800-382-5465, which the eStatements page prints for questions. This guide does not print a research fee for that request, because the download pages did not print one. The fee page does list Account Research and Records at $3 per item. Ask the bank whether a copy request uses that line.

It does not sign in to the bank or the company, and it does not cancel a plan. How to read a statement PDF is the next step after the file is saved.
