Personal Account table
Opened 19 October 2026. The amounts on the Personal Account fees and features page are in Canadian dollars. Equitable Bank is a member of CDIC. EQ Bank is a trade name. How to get the PDF is on how to download an EQ Bank statement.
The table says the Personal Account has no everyday banking fees. These lines are Free: mobile cheque deposit, electronic funds transfers, transfers between EQ Bank accounts, transfers between linked accounts, recurring transfers, sending and receiving Interac e-Transfer, EQ to EQ transfers, linked accounts, and bill payments. Opening or closing the account is Free. A transaction history inquiry is Free. An NSF chargeback for a returned item, such as a cheque deposit that did not have enough money, is Free. Assisted service with Customer Care is Free. Cancelling a future dated transaction is Free. A dormant account notice is Free. Transfer of an unclaimed balance to the Bank of Canada after 10 years is Free.
International money transfer is powered by Wise. EQ Bank says Wise charges the fee. This page does not copy Wise's price. Paper statements are not available. The page says balances can be viewed and printed online. Overdraft is not available. Currency conversion on this account is Canadian dollars only.
Quebec is different for a few products. EQ Bank says it does not offer a US Dollar Account, international money transfers, RSP savings accounts, or RSP GICs in Quebec. EQ to EQ transfers are not available in Quebec.
Upload the statement on Expenvo. The PDF stays on your device. Expenvo lists the lines. It does not sign in to the bank, and it does not move the money.
Limits are not fees
The same table prints dollar limits. An outbound Interac e-Transfer has a 24 hour maximum of $5,000, a weekly maximum of $20,000, and a monthly maximum of $50,000. Those are caps, not fees.
EQ Bank Card
The card agreement says there are no monthly fees, maintenance fees, or overdraft charges for the card. Fees are in Canadian dollars.
At an ATM in Canada, the provider may charge a fee. EQ Bank reimburses 5 withdrawals a month, up to $5 each. The reimbursement is deposited onto the card within ten business days. At an ATM outside Canada, the provider may charge a fee, and EQ Bank does not reimburse it.
Replacing a lost or stolen card is Free. EQ Bank does not charge a foreign currency conversion fee. A foreign currency transaction uses the Mastercard conversion rate.
