Chime account fees
Chime prints a short fee list, not a big-bank package table. This page is the list its help center showed on 21 October 2026. A bank overdraft table is a different product, on [US overdraft fees by bank](/guides/us-overdraft-fees-by-bank).

The fee list on the help page
Opened 21 October 2026. Chime's fee page says the checking account has no minimum balance requirement, no monthly fees, no overdraft fees, and no fees for using direct deposit. The cash withdrawal fee on that page is $2.50 per transaction at an out-of-network ATM. There is no Chime fee at an FCTI ATM inside a 7-Eleven or a Speedway, or at an Allpoint ATM, or at a Visa Plus Alliance ATM in the Allpoint network. An FCTI ATM that is not in a 7-Eleven or a Speedway is subject to a fee.
The same page says an instant transfer of funds out to a linked external account is 1.75% of the transfer. It does not print a separate dollar for a standard transfer. If you use an ATM outside the network, including for a balance inquiry, the ATM operator can charge its own fee even when you do not take cash. That operator fee is not a Chime fee. The phone on the page is (844) 244-6363.
The line on your own statement is the one that counts. Upload it on the upload page. The PDF stays on your device. Expenvo lists the lines. It does not call the institution.

Cash, and SpotMe
Chime's ATM and cash page prints the same $2.50 Chime fee for an out-of-network ATM withdrawal and for an over-the-counter withdrawal at a bank or credit union. An international ATM withdrawal is also $2.50 from Chime, plus the operator's fee. Members with Chime Prime status get up to two of those $2.50 Chime fees back per calendar month. Operator fees are not reimbursed.
A cash deposit at Walgreens or Duane Reade is free on that page. Other retail partners set their own fee, which the page says typically runs from $3 to $5. Cash back at the register is free from Chime. The store can still charge its own fee.
SpotMe is the no-fee overdraft service, not a second ATM line. The disclosure on Chime's checking fee page says SpotMe on Debit has no fee, and SpotMe on Credit has no interest and no fee. Eligibility needs $200 or more in qualifying direct deposits to the Chime Checking Account each month. The starting limit is up to $20 in total, and it can later go up to $200 or more. SpotMe does not cover non-card transactions, including ACH transfers, Pay Anyone transfers, or Chime Checkbook. The limit in the app is the one that applies.
