Libro NSF fee
Libro prints the NSF dollars on its general service fees page. The row covers an NSF cheque and electronic NSF processing, at $50.00 and $45.00, marked CAD and USD. The wider table is [Canada NSF fees by bank](/guides/canada-nsf-fees-by-bank).

The NSF line
Opened 21 October 2026. The figures are from Libro's general service fees page. Under chequing account related fees, the row is Non Sufficient Funds (NSF) Cheque / Non Sufficient Funds Processing (NSFP) Electronic. The fees column prints $50.00 and $45.00. The description column prints CAD and USD. The page does not split those two dollars into a sentence that says which service is which, so this guide does not invent that split.
The same table prints an unauthorized overdraft on a cheque or automated funds transfer as a $5.00 handling fee, a $5.00 month-end service fee, and a 30% annual interest rate charged monthly on a temporary unauthorized overdraft that is not covered by Coverdraft or sits outside an authorized limit. That is a different row from the NSF line.
The line on your own statement is the one that counts. Upload it on the upload page. The PDF stays on your device. Expenvo lists the lines. It does not call the institution.

How to avoid it
Libro's overdraft protection page says an approved overdraft, from $300 to $5,000, honours a transaction up to that limit. Interest is charged only when you use the limit, on the daily balance, once a month. The page says there are no additional fees, and that using it can avoid non-sufficient funds fees, unauthorized overdraft fees, and a vendor's returned-payment charge.
The personal account fees page is the monthly package, not the NSF row. Basic chequing is $4 a month, waived with a $1,000 minimum monthly balance. Interac e-Transfer is $1.50 on Basic and free on Simplify, Premium, and Go Free. A sent e-Transfer is not the NSF line. The pages do not print one phone number for the NSF fee.
