Three Suncoast sentences

Opened 21 October 2026. The deposit fee schedule, effective September 1, 2026, prints Check/ACH debit returned unpaid at $29 and Paid Non-sufficient Funds (NSF) at $29. A footnote says HSA accounts that are considered a checking product are not subject to the NSF fees listed.

The Courtesy Pay opt-in says: "We will charge you a Paid Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) fee of $29 per account per day with a maximum of 10 items per month." It also says: "A fee will not be assessed for transactions less than or equal to $15.00."

The discretionary Courtesy Pay notice says you will be charged a PAID Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) fee of $29 per account per day, and "A fee of $29 per each presented returned item without limit of the number of the returned item fees per day." This page quotes the schedule, the opt-in, and the notice. It does not collapse the per-day paid fee into the unlimited returned-item sentence.

DocumentWhat it prints
Fee schedule, paid NSF$29
Fee schedule, check or ACH returned unpaid$29

Opt-in, small transactionNo fee for transactions less than or equal to $15.00

How to read the two caps

The opt-in cap is 10 paid NSF items a month, and the paid fee is described per account per day. The notice's returned-item sentence says there is no limit on the number of returned item fees per day. A paid item and a returned item are different sentences. HSA checking is outside the NSF rows on the fee schedule.
